MIMS Automechanika Moscow to celebrate 20th anniversary edition.

High international level of trade fair represented by 1022 companies from 42 countries.

20th anniversary edition of MIMS Automechanika Moscow will be hosted by IEC Expocentre from 22 to 25 August 2016 and celebrate its leading position among business events in the automotive industry featuring aftermarket products and solutions.

This year the trade fair will be joined by 1022 exhibitors from 42 countries presenting product groups: parts and components, repair & maintenance, electronics & systems, accessories & tuning, service station & car wash, accumulative batteries, IT and management. 7 national pavilions will represent companies from China, France, Italy, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan.

Truck competence will continue to address the growing market trend for commercial transport on the Russian market and business demand by featuring respective business solutions.

The current business circumstances challenge companies by choosing effective channels for marketing and promotion activities, thus, MIMS Automechanika Moscow is looked upon even more as such providing excellent opportunities to its exhibitors within four days to show-case their products to a great number of visitors, establish new business contacts and develop direct access to high-profile buyers operating on the aftermarket. The trade fair is highlighted by its strong commercial potential: over 60% of visitors at MIMS Automechanika Moscow 2015 attended the show with clear target to find and source automotive industry products and solutions. 48% of them were represented by top management.

For the first time B2B meetings with leading manufacturers from Asia will be organized during the show providing local buyers with direct access to sourcing and effective business solutions.

JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) will for the first time participate in MIMS Automechanika Moscow by national pavilion with a new concept of “reverse trade fair” represented by Japanese companies operating in Russia (Avtovaz Renault Nissan Purchasing Organization, Calsonic Kansei RUS LLC, JSC ”ISUZU RUS”, Mitsuba Teklas Rus LLC, TAKATA RUS LLC). The focus of the concept is localization opportunities for local suppliers.

Fringe Program of MIMS Automechanika Moscow 2016 will be highlighted by IMAF 2016 (International Moscow Automotive Forum) gathering high-profile speakers, opinion leaders and decision-makers of the automotive industry debating on the key questions: “Russian automotive market – break point for revival?”

The plenary session opening the event will enjoy participation of Alexander Morozov (deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation), Nicolas Maure (President, Avtovaz), Andrey Pankov (CEO, Renault Russia), Adil Shirinov (First Vice-President and Executive Director, Ford Sollers), Kirill Epstein (Director of automotive components division, GAZ Group), Massimiliano Perri (Business Director, IVECO Russia), Jaron Wiedmaier (General Director, Continental Tires) and other prominent industry top-managers.
